Education

  • B.A. Philosophy, UC Berkeley

Certifications

  • National Academy of Sports Medicine, Certified Personal Trainer
  • American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Certified

Experience

  • I bring 4+ years of personal program design in bodybuilding and body composition training. Before getting into weightlifting, I spent 5 years in pre-professional dance (ballet, contemporary, jazz, & commercial), and 3 years studying pilates, floor barre, and stretch/strength-conditioning methods. Living with type 1 diabetes has deepened my understanding of fitness, empowering me to support my clients, especially those with unique health and metabolic goals.

Interests

  • I specialize in strength and hypertrophy training, glute-focused and functional movement programs, body recomposition and metabolic health, and training individuals with diabetes or other unique health goals. I’m passionate about wellness, nutrition, diabetes research and innovation, and plan to pursue further opportunities in these fields. Outside the gym, I enjoy long walks, cooking everyday meals, and integrating science, movement, and faith into everyday life.

Personal Philosophy

  • I believe fitness is more than a workout- it’s a pathway to discipline, clarity, and inner strength. My approach combines education, consistency, and compassion to help clients build confidence and sustainable results. I view movement as both a science and a gift- a way to maximize the body’s potential, cultivate self-mastery, and live with purpose, health, and joy.
