Channing CourtsaddChanning Tennis Courts are composed of nine outdoor hard courts and a backboard hitting area. There are no evening court lights.
Who Can Use It?
Open tennis is not offered at Channing Courts. The space is utilized by pre-assigned groups, some of which include Intercollegiate Athletics, Sport Clubs, Instructional Classes, and approved campus affiliate groups.
Location
Three blocks south from the main campus, the Channing Tennis Courts are located just above the Ellsworth Parking Structure which is bordered by Channing, Haste Street, and Ellsworth Street.
There is street parking and there are local paid lots near the courts.

Golden Bear Tennis CourtsaddThe two hard courts of Golden Bear Tennis Courts are available for Open Recreation use during most of the year. The court has lights for night play.
Who Can Use It?
Golden Bear Rec Center Tennis Courts are now available for Recreation & Wellbeing members to reserve daily from 8:00 AM—9:00 PM. Make a reservation.
Location
Four blocks south from main campus, Golden Bear Recreation Center (GBRC) Tennis Courts are located on the Clark Kerr Campus (residence halls), off of Dwight Way, near the Hillside Avenue intersection.
Street parking is available along Dwight Way and in the metered spaces directly across from the GBRC building.

Hearst Tennis CourtsaddSix outdoor hard courts and a backboard hitting area make up Hearst Tennis Courts. Evening court lights are available.

The Hearst Tennis Courts are on the south side of campus above the Bancroft Parking Garage at the crossing of Bancroft Way and Bowditch Street.
There is street parking and there are local paid lots near the courts.

Hellman Tennis ComplexaddCalifornia Tennis makes its home at the Hellman Tennis Complex, located on the southwest side of campus. The complex includes six top-of-the-line hard courts with lights.
Who Can Use It?
The Hellman Tennis Complex does not offer open recreation hours for Recreation & Wellbeing members. It is used for Cal Tennis team practices and Cal Tennis home dual match competitions.
Location
Hellman Tennis Complex is located immediately north of Edwards Stadium, which is bordered by Bancroft Way (south), Fulton Ave (west), and Frank Schlessinger Way (north). The best access point is along Frank Schlessinger Way.
Metered parking is available near Hellman Stadium on Oxford Street. Please note that many of these meters have a one-hour limit. However, other meters on the surrounding streets such as Dana, Ellsworth, Fulton, Durant, Bancroft and Channing may allow up to two-hour parking.
