Small Group Pilates Reformer classes will consist of 3-8 participants in a class setting, with 50-minute sessions. Gain total body strength, balance, and core control. Both new and experienced Pilates practitioners have plenty to love about Pilates at UC Berkeley Recreation & Wellbeing. You’ll find a range of traditional and specialty instruction to meet your fitness goals and skill level. Our trainers can help you achieve your goals. Our goal is to inspire individuals and groups to feel invigorated and motivated. We accomplish this by creating Pilates instruction that is fun, challenging, and, of course, rewarding. UC Berkeley students must be at least 17 years old to enroll in this program. Non-UC Berkeley students must be at least 18 years old to enroll in this program.

Class Levels

We offer two levels of Pilates Reformer Workout sessions across multiple locations. Please review the descriptions below carefully to ensure you register for the class that best matches your experience level. All classes use floor-based reformers, which are accessible and suitable for all levels.

  • Introductory Level: These offerings are ideal for beginners or those new to using Pilates Reformers.
  • Level 1: Participants are required to have taken at least 16 classes previously at any facility.
