Summer 2025 Strength Training
Until June 1, please select the “Summer 2025” tab in our online store to view and register for our Summer 2025 programs. All offerings will be listed exclusively under the Summer 2025 tab.
Strength Training (6 weeks)
This course is for all levels of strength training experience. It will incorporate dumbbells, barbells, weight machines, kettlebells, bands and more. Generally, we will have a “workout of the day” on one of the class days, and a circuit workout on the other day.

Strength Training 50+ (6 weeks)
Increase your strength and fitness level by learning how to use free weights and weight-lifting machines correctly in a safe and welcoming environment. Strength training prevents osteoporosis and other conditions that limit mobility so you can spend time being active with your loved ones.

Refunds and Cancellations
- All program withdrawal requests must be submitted by email to RecWell@berkeley.edu or through the Action Request Form.
- Refund requests received more than 3 business days before the program start date will be subject to a $25 administrative fee, deducted from the refund amount.
- No refunds will be issued within 3 business days of the program start time or after the program has begun, no exceptions.
