This experiential camp gives campers the opportunity to engage and analyze in ways to explore the Bay Area such as hiking, climbing, and paddle boarding.
About Discovery Camp
Discovery camp is designed specifically with the 10-12 year-old in mind, with engaging and challenging new ways to explore the Bay Area. Activities may include hikes to regional waterfalls, climbing at the SCRA ropes course, and paddle boarding to a beach picnic lunch. This itinerary may vary depending on naturalist reservations with various regional parks, other opportunities and weather. Lifelong friendships develop in the close-knit groups with low camper to instructor ratios, and specialized curriculum plants the seeds of leadership development. Our full day course allows for a broad spectrum of regional adventures, often with multiple stops in a day. Adventures will provide leadership, transportation, and all entrance and use fees. All campers must have comfort with water. Families will be provided a schedule of the week’s activities on Monday evening.
Ages & Eligibility
Campers must be ages 10-12 on the first day of camp in order to register.
