About Gold Camp at University Village Albany (UVA)
UC Berkeley Youth Recreation has a deep history of offering quality youth programs to families across the Bay Area for over 60 years. Modeled after our signature multi-activity day camps (Blue and Explorer), Gold Camp combines developmentally appropriate sports, outdoor learning, arts, science, and group games to create a fun and well rounded camp experience for campers aged 5 to 10 years old. It’s located at the University Village Albany Community Center, a large space with ample indoor spaces and access to grassy fields and more.
Age & Eligibility
- Ages 5-7 by June 1, 2025. All participants must be fully toilet trained, and able to use the restroom independently
- Ages 8-10 by June 1, 2025.
- Ages 12-14 (who have completed 7th-10th grade) by June 1, 2025 for Campers in Leadership Training (CILT).
